LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!! Received these last week and everything about them is awesome! The color, the material, love it! Bought for a child that puts EVERYTHING in her mouth! My 12 year old nephew has ADHD and has struggled with the anxious tendency to bite his shirt or blanket...really whatever is close to him. Being an adult with ADHD and anxiety this is fantastic for me. I literally use it to chew on all the time and in the two weeks of having it it doesn't even look like I've been chewing it! It's extremely durable and I've found the string is perfect for hanging around my neck no matter if I'm at work or hanging out with friends.

My daughter has Trichotillomania (hair pulling) and the therapist recommended several sensory toys to help redirect her behavior. Among her recommendations was a chew necklace. My son has an oral fixation and this has helped so much. His shirt is no longer wet from chewing on it. He has something to distract him from chewing on his toys. This helps a lot. I'm pretty sure this will be better for his teeth as well. This is wonderful for children, who tend to chew on everything.

These would be good for teething but we have a son with sensory processing disorder so these help him alot when he needs to chew. They are a great size along with the cords around the neck adjust fanominally to fit all sizes.
